We recommend cleaning and disinfecting an attic water tank at least once a year, or every 6 months if you have an older tank, noticeable sediment, or any change in water colour, smell or taste.

Will my water supply be off during the service?

Yes - you'll be without cold water to the taps and toilet cisterns for the duration of the clean (typically 1.5 to 2 hours in a domestic property). Hot water fed from the cylinder may still be usable but we recommend holding off until we're finished.
